« Hurricanes and Our Homes Network Security Camera Systems Vs Analog CCTV Security Systems »
My wife had the TV on in the kitchen when I got up this morning. Before I could even have my first cup of tea, the issue on the Today Show had already roiled me. They were discussing Mumia Abdul Jamal, who 25 years ago, shot and killed a 25 year old young policeman on the street in Philadelphia.
That BS has been giving many opportunities for the rich and famous like the Hollywood people to celebrate for a long time. These bunch of idiots think that Mumia deserves to undergo a new trial. Mumia even gained himself worldwide followers that were objecting and protesting in New York, outside the studio of NBC this morning.
They claim that Mumia was innocent and was just framed, and that the police department in Philadelphia were racists. Every year they submit a piece of new evidence to prove their point. Last year’s new evidence was they had someone who heard the last words of the victim, Danny Faulkner. This year’s new pieces of evidence were photos.
But I tell you, Philadelphia wasn’t a good place to live in, trust me I lived there before in early 80’s. At that time, cops had problems.
But the victim Danny Faulkner was green, he hadn’t been around long enough to be one of the most feared grizzled blue thugs. Yeah really, people used to fear the cops before as much as the criminals.
But for Mumia Abdul Jamal, all the evidence proves he really was the killer who had slain Officer Danny Faulkner in cold blood. Case closed.
But it’s been 26 years long and the case still drags on. Mumia Abdul Jamal should have disappeared by now. Cops aren’t always right, there are even cases that they are just as bad as the crooks. But not here. For me Danny Faulkner deserves our prayer that he can rest in peace, that he should not be forgotten. He was the one who risked his life in line of duty trying to serve and protect his country from crooks, who died on the sidewalk in 1982 fulfilling his duty.
Let’s remember the real story.
