I work in a 24-hour convenience store in my community and there are a couple of occasions when I would get stuck with the evening shift. Going home after midnight is the worst for me, more so simply because undesirable characters are lurking on the streets during those times.

When a coworker of mine was robbed while heading home after an evening schedule, only then did it certainly sink in with me exactly how dangerous the streets were at those times. I came across Mace Pepper sprays on the net and made a decision then to try one out for my safety.
