Why is it that we do not like to talk about self-defense, even though we realize it is a necessary evil these days? It is a sad indictment of our new world, but we do need to be ready for anything that may happen and should ensure that our children are aware of all the modern self-defense options.

Looking back into history we can see that ancient tribes and peoples were probably better prepared to defend themselves than we are today.
