Some exit devices are electronically operated using sensors or alarms. The main purpose of installing them is to provide safety and ample security inside and outside the premises where they are installed or mounted. These implements are considered vital door hardware or accessories that must be used in schools, commercial establishments, hospitals, offices and other areas normally flooded with people. These devices can also be mechanical or electrical in nature.

Nearly everybody has faced the quandary of being locked out at some point. This isn’t fun, especially when you stepped out in your robe to get the morning paper and the door locked behind you. When you are in this scenario it can be confusing as to what your options are. If you have ever faced a lock out, you know the very first thing you usually do. You search all the flower beds and above the door frames hoping someone happened to cover a key. When these efforts fail, you start checking windows, just hoping somebody left one open or cracked.
