The Truth of Chi!

The question of Chi (Ki in Japanese) is one of the huge mysteries in the martial arts world. Chi is supposed to be the reason martial artists are able to do feats of the superhuman variety. There are stories of martial artists who can break stones, and put out candles from great distances, and even cause death in an opponent without even touching them!

Most of these superhuman stories have never really been proven. Yes, there are people who can break rocks with their bare hands, and I have seen people who could put out candles even while standing across a room. But as for killing somebody without even touching them…hey, I’m still alive!

Whilst most participating states in the USA permit the use of pepper spray, pepper spray laws do very when it comes to self-defense. For example, the state of Indiana, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Rhode Island actually prohibit the purchase of pepper spray, either through the Internet or by mail. In an anomaly, the shipping of bear and dog pepper spray is legal in all of the 48 contiguous states.
